About the Practice
Puzzlers, Inc. is a private practice started by Dr. Ellie Smith, licensed School Psychologist. The practice offers thorough and comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for children and adolescents aged 3 through 18. Dr. Smith has been working for students and families in Indianapolis for several years, and has had experience with assessment for 10+ years. Dr. Smith began evaluating students in 2014, and earned her doctorate (PhD) in School Psychology from Fordham University (New York, NY) in 2019. She has since been working for Washington Township School District as a school psychologist for the non-public schools in the district. This is Dr. Smith's first private practice, though she has worked for different private practices previously in the New York and Indianapolis areas.
Individualized Testing
Dr. Smith completes evaluations in a thorough manner, individualized to each client's unique needs. The entire assessment process takes around 3 hours on average, though timing may vary by child.
Connection to Resources
Dr. Smith not only provides individualized assessment for children and adolescents, but provides recommendations with valuable resources (therapists, psychiatrists) for ongoing care.
